As I was running today, I was thinking of how the beach area around Mersey Bluff reminded me of Borneo.The Bass Staight was the same greyish colour as the South China sea.
The houses along the strip looked a little English Manor and in the distance,the houses on the hill looked a little Scandinavian.
But the sound of the screeching brakes,the revving of the engine and some bloke screaming out ‘LEARN TO DRIVE YOU STUPID WANKER’, well, that was quite aussie.

I have been doing about 6kms out and back to a lighthouse on the bluff.

The journey out concludes with a dash up the stairs and a quick sprint around the lighthouse while I chant ‘I am pinko of the universe!”

Sometime over the weekend I’ll go right round the Bluff to the beach on the other side.

And what’s that sniffling I hear?
I think it may be Victoria chucking a sad they won’t have a team in the grad final!!
