This is the Tasman Bridge

This is me attempting to run up and over the Tasman Bridge

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k160/sylvie_011/tasmanrun.jpg

But the scary wind troll would not let me pass!

At first the incline scared me.It goes up high. But I dealt with that.
Then I thought about all that grey water waaaay down below. But I dealt with that.

But I could not deal with a wind that made me lose my balance.
That's a bit too scary for this little black duck.
So.a third of the way up I ran back down.

oh well.

Driver Dick reminded me the bridge collapsed in the middle in the 70's.
That's the last frickenm time he photographs me from behind.

4.12pm

We are back in Devonport and it is here that we bid the lovely apple isle a fond farewell.
I could live here,if I learnt to speak slower and grew 4 extra layers of blubber.

We sail tonight!
Good news is,the sun is out.Bad news, the water is moving.

We'll be in time to see the AFL grand final parade. Go Eagles !!(yes.call me fickle)

See you in Melbourne!

When you get to Melbourne, you can amaze the locals by telling them that there was once an American Eastern Grey Squirrel colony there.

Eek! A wind troll! Shorty, those are nastiest trolls of all. I'm so glad you were sensible and turned around. :)

Those were some amazing photos!

Are you going to marry DriverDick when you return? You seem to get on with him quite well. ;)

Be safe!

Hugs,
Martiniqueeni

I've never encountered a wind troll, but I'm sure it's a very good idea to avoid them.

Love your blog!
