6.06kms today!

"m a bitch, Im a bitch, yeah the bitch is back"..I may even do a long run on the weekend!

I even fartleked a little over the first 3 kms.
Fortunately no one noticed and there was a good breeze.

Actually, today reminded me why I should avoid mid morning runs. It was cloudy and breezy-as opposed to sunny and still.
Even if the temp isn't high, I can really feel the difference between running in cooler cloudier conditions.
I have PR'ed in wet and chilly conditions! (Please take note mother earth- CHILLY conditions for next years marathon,thankyou)

Speaking of which,I'm just going to come right out and say it.
The Perth Marathon is dull.

Yes-dull.
I know it's hard to believe that anyone would put 'Perth' and 'dull' in the same sentence but, it's TRUE!

After glimpses of the races in other states and the Chicago Marathon (onya Bonita!) I think ours has no atmosphere,apart from your own private tinkling of shorts as you wait for the starting gun.
I want crowds of spectators and a bigger field and more people running in chicken suits.

On a side note- I really like the show Family Guy,but,haven't any of them noticed that Stewie has a really big vocab?

Iam also concerned that the US has banned Vegemite.
Think of all the accidents that will occur when smugglers try to swallow jars of vegemite in condoms.
