Tuesday 3rd October, 2006

We eventually decided on a town named Gosford, about 50kms out of Sydney.
It’s a lovely beachy city. The drive in was gorgeous.I never thought of Sydney being so mountainous.Parts of the highway travel through what seem to be blasted mountains.

Our first full day was spent mostly in the city.We travelled in by train.
Have you ever noticed how you get these frail elderly looking people with their zimmer frames waiting for the train/bus,looking sightly wobbly on their feet, but when the bus/train arrive they suddenly turn quite sprightly and almost club you out of the way with their frames?

I did my first bit of shopping!
I just happened to walk into a sorts shop and,I saw these mizuno shorts and singlet that are the SAME black, white and orange as my shoes, and how come we don’t get this big a range in Perth and I well, I too have a burning urge to dress like a wanker

I am however, still running in my stenchy black gear.

Driver Dick claims he heard my shorts knocking on the door.

We had a quick glance over at the Convent of the Flying Nun.

Apparently the Foo Fighters are playing there tomorrow night(bloke on the train told me so)

If I threw my running shorts at Dave Grohl,I think I could concuss him.
